This is a question that is probably the most frequently asked amongst people looking for a rehab centre.
The cost of treatment can vary considerably but it all depends on what you are looking for. There are also many different options when it comes to treatment and it all depends on what you are looking for. There are a few free state rehabs and then there are private treatment centres.
There are also different types of treatment centres or rehab facilities that use different methods of treatment when it comes to treating addiction. There are faith based, psychiatric, physical labour based, twelve step based (my personal suggestion) and others.
Rehabs can cost anywhere from about R7 000 per month into the hundreds of thousands of Rands per month.
But how do you choose a rehab that is going to not just suit your budget but also actually work for you or your loved one? There is no definitive answer for this because it is up to each persons preference. However I will share my personal experience about this.
In the past I tried everything from religion to Psychiatry to stop drinking and using but nothing worked. Eventually I went to a 12 step rehab centre and that is where I found my solution and I got better....
I believe in the 12 step process and I have watched how it has changed the lives of so many people and mine as well. This is why I decided to open a 12 step rehabilitation centre because of how my life has changed for the better!
Anyway, enough about me and back to the issue at hand. Unfortunately the choice is yours to make but you need to decide on what kind of treatment you want and then start narrowing your options from there. If you can you should always go and view the facility and meet the staff so that you can make an informed decision.
If you'd like to know more or you are unsure, please don't hesitate to send me a message or give us a call. I am more than happy to share what I know and have learnt along the way.
